Monster

There's this word that describes me,
It's so sad and angry,
A word that bends shadows to its will,
That binds me to spend forever by myself.
A second with this word can be all too long,
It forms an inescapable darkness.
And yet I face this word alone
This all too powerful word,
I face this monster, with only myself.
